  Re: First Posting

Hey Janey, Thanks so much for the welcome, and I'm glad you like my GBC. I would love to come to the Hobby show if I can find the time. When would you need to know by? BTW is anyone going to the LEGO build this weekend at the Ex? Deane (17 years ago, 15-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Two New GBC Modules..

I built it last night. My earlier problem was in trying to use 4-stud axles to hold the pulleys in their offset position -- this is hard to describe, but the gist of it is the axles sometimes got in the way of other pulleys and warped their (...) (17 years ago, 15-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: 8275 Bulldozer...

(...) By starter set in this context I mean a set that contains enough of the parts to be really useful in building MOCs rather than a "first" set or the like. 4 motors are better than 2 motors in this context, but the dino looks interesting too. (...) (17 years ago, 15-Aug-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: 8275 Bulldozer...

(...) I'm with John on this one - I ended up grabbing the Dino because it was cheaper, and I could at least get experience with the new motors and control system (which I *think* I like... it's been hard to experiment a lot since my kids won't let (...)   Re: 8275 Bulldozer...

(...) Wow, you call a $150 USD set a "starter" set???!!! I think I want your LEGO budget! ;) All kidding aside, like ROSCO said, if you want to get into the new motors & RC units, I think the dino is a better intro set, but there do seem to be lots (...)
