(...) Brian, I suppose it's not in lugnet/LDraw/peeron yet simply because it's probably a new part, just reaching the stores now. Curious. I've not seen this referenced here on LUGNET, in fact can find only one picture of it on BrickLink with a note that the inventory for the set in question (7662-1, Trade Federation MTT) is "pending". but it certainly looks interesting: (...) (17 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Nifty. Have you thought about using the newer bigger tread links, from the Snowmobile (and later this year from the Power Functions Bulldozer)? They are much less likely to break apart in my experience, and are closer in look at that scale as (...) (17 years ago, 29-May-07, to lugnet.technic)

Just an FYI I connected a Lego Buggy Motor to my Tamiya Electronic Speed control with reverse. and it works like a charm.. full proportional forward and back control. while connected to a regular RC 7.2v 3600mah Nimh Battery back. now I just (...)
