In order to build a new boom for a crane I am working on, I had to take apart this WWII plane MOC from 2001. It had numerous butchered parts but was still impressive to look at and worked reasonably well. I had to dust off 4-1/2 years of dust from (...) (19 years ago, 13-Feb-06, to lugnet.technic)

Does anyone know of a working linkage or geometry for slide-glide doors usually found on low floor transit buses, with door panels being 5 studs wide when (...) There's a couple of downsides to multiple parts sheaves - first, it means at least twice as much string, and that can mean either larger spools or thinner string, which is much harder for small fingers to handle; and second, it's harder to (...)
