  Re: Check Out The 8285

(...) Wow, looks like they finally included dual wheels for the rear axles! (The 5571 Black Cat looked silly with single wheels in the back) -Bryan (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.technic)

Re: LEGO Day at the Owatonna Arts Center

Kevin, Oooh, bad timing. That's the same day as the Minnesota State FLL tournament. You should come next year and display you MOC's at the tourney. We could have you, me, Doug Carlson and Benton Jackson. I wonder what other AFOL's we have in the (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.loc.us.mn, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Check Out The 8285

(...) That got me too. When I first saw the 8285, my first impression was some photoshop gag. But then I checked out BrickLink and saw 8285 listed as a 2006 set(just the pic they have is tiny).   Re: Arched Through Truss Bridge - LegoWorld 2005 Bridge strength contest

(...) Thanks TJ! (...) Yes, it was very helpful to optimize member length to minimize members splits and match my parts collection! (...) I don't think I would have won... this bridge (URL) had about the same weight but was stronger. Anyway I prefer (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Pneumatic Control in 8868 Alternate Model

(...) Alas, the 9617 and 9633 Pneumatic sets are no longer in production - retired, to use the proper terminology. So also has the 5218 pneumatic pack and much other useful pneumatic stuff. The current sets are the 8421 and the 8436. You would be (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Arched Through Truss Bridge - LegoWorld 2005 Bridge strength contest

(...) WOW! That's very impressive. (yeh, I know- I'm a little late in posting this. :-) It has a nice shape and looks very stout. The relatively large height (compared to the span length) gives it a lot of strength. I like how you doubled some of (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jan-06, to lugnet.technic)
