| Hi everyone, I will just invite you to see my latest creation, not a new MOC, but improved. (URL) My 1:30 scale Gottwald AK850 now reaches 5.20 meters up in the sky. | (...) Hi Luis, the 4 section boom just uses plates and the (URL) 2x2 - 2x2 brackets> to put another layer around the 3 section boom I used in (URL) my AC100>. One thing I'd like to look at one day is the possibility of using a leadscrew arrangement and locks inside the boom like most cranes use these days, so that each section can be extended individually.
