| (...) Hi Rosco, Its a sensor from the company (URL). The sensor measures the angle of the wire. Sadly the sensor costs around 140 euros, but its very good for this purpose, and it is made specially for the RCX. The normal rotation sensor from LEGO (...) | (...) increasing the number of lines means operating the hoist is slower - a 10 line hook will take 10 times longer to raise and lower than a single line. That is the reason many heavy lifting cranes have multiple hoist lines - multiple line for (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.technic)
