  Re: NEW ANIMATION

(...) Oh COOL! Lots of complex motion there with the shocks and the freefall. I'm sure the math would make my head spin ;-) Keep up the good work! -Tim (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Coupe/ Cabrio car

(...) -snip- Nathanael Kuipers strikes again! Oh man, I love stuff like this. Can I drive it. Can I borrow it on Saturday night to go cruising? I'll fill up the tank/batteries when I give it back. Can I? Can I? Going over to BS to drool over the (...) (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: NEW ANIMATION

What can I say Steve??! It's fantastic as always!!! The suspension is perfect... Is this an animation of a LEGO car!!!?? It's hard to believe. Keep going Steve! Nathanael (Btw did I send you the final CAD version of the GT?) (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Coupe/ Cabrio car

Hi! After a long time I'm able to present a new technic car: (URL) I tried to put as many cool features in this car I possibly could do. Some specs: - All wheeldrive with a double wishbone suspensionsystem - V 12 engine and a 'normal' 5+1 speed (...)   Re: NEW ANIMATION

(...) Very very cool! I especially like the way the front shocks compress to engage the ramp. Nice touch! Dave! (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: NEW ANIMATION

(...) Wow. Did you have to calculate the trajectory of the wheels separately to get the suspension unload/load effect, then, or what? I can't imagine you actually modeled the kinematics, did you? Tres nifty, thanks for sharing. Spotlighted. (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: NEW ANIMATION

(...) That's really good. I like how the suspension works as it lands. How long did it take to render it? -Jordan Bradford (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  NEW ANIMATION

Just put up a new animation. Check it out. (URL) Steve (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation, lugnet.technic, FTX) !!

  Motorized Tank

For you viewing pleasure: (URL) (Click the image, feel the love.) Originally, this was going to be a static model, but after some internal measurements I realized it would be the perfect model to motorize. Only the turret traverse is powered for (...)   Re: SSClagorpion

(...) I was under the impression that Kevin's supply of pnuematics were around 100 pistons and switches. I have a small hand full of the new types and less than a dozen of the old type. IMHO, that's why I orriginally wanted to create the Leg truss (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: SSClagorpion

(...) Ok, so how should we proceed? How many switches and pistons DO you have? We could scale back the design to fit your inventory, or come up with another solution. We could all pitch in parts, but that will mean SSClagorpion will have a limited (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: SSClagorpion

(...) Hey guys, I'm standing by, forgive my absence. I have the parts to contribute for structural things, the sheer amount of switches and pistons are out of my range. I do have Rotation Sensors and greeble doohickies. I also have three Spybots. (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Pictures Modelshow Europe (April 24th 2004)

(...) Great exhibit! I really wish I could have been there to see all the great models. Ron Jansen's Demag CC12600 is looking good. I see your new Menck dragline- very nice!!! Can't wait to see more details. -TJ (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam)

Pictures Modelshow Europe (April 24th 2004)

Last Saturday the Modelshow Europe was held in Geldermalsen NL. This year there were more than 360 exhibitors. About eight of them brought LEGO models with them (me included). I made some pictures but there not all very clear unfortunately. But my (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.events, FTX)

  Re: SSClagorpion

(...) Considering the flex in the body/leg and the overall size/weight of this guy, it may be good to raise it up a bit more. Maybe 2x the normal throw? With that in mind, that still only 2/leg or 16. (...) I was thinking about a diff-drive walker (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: SSClagorpion

(...) Dunno. I'm mulling around the leverage issue. I don't see why the feet should have to rise more that the amount the piston expands/contracts. If I can figure out how to make the leverage work (and pack it all in nicely), we could be back to 8 (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)
