  Pneumatic Cylinders
 
I've bought quite a few 8455 excavators now and in all of them the pneumatic cylinders have restricted air flow due to partially blocked nozzles. The amount of restriction varies, as measured by extending and contracting the cylinders by hand and (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

I'm moving on and expanding my horizons. I have now, and for some time, encountered trouble making ends meet. So I am moving on and I no longer work at LEGO Brand Retail. Their isn't much going on in this group at the moment but I've just had some luck, I won 39 copies of set 1259 on Ebay. (URL) £10.50 it works out at 1.262p a part not counting postage. Not bad :-) Steve (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Hey, You are right, having more lights will slow the motor and dim the lights. But if you think about it, he want's to make fireplaces and I think dim lights (if not too dim) would work fine. (...) Anthony, Nice, clear question. You won't hurt your electric parts by running too little voltage through them. As you add lights, existing lights will get dimmer, the motor will run slower, and the batteries will not last as long. You MAY hurt (...)
