(...) Actually, thats only partly true. Up thru model year 2001, there were several sets which had both TECHNIC and Star Wars on the box front. R2-D2 and the Destroyer Droid are two that come to mind. Also many of the 2001 Bionicle sets had TECHNIC (...) (21 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

Beginning with model year 2002, almost all sets were rebranded with things like "BIONICLE", "RACERS", "STAR WARS", etc. I have been told that there are a few higher-end sets still marked TECHNIC, but I have yet to see one.
