Mmmm... i'm not exactly the expert in cranes (in fact, I've never built one), but I think you can use 2x4 plates instead of the 1x4 plates (this way you can get a solid boom instead of a parallelogram).. like this: (URL) (...) (...) It is interesting you say that, because that was one of the reasons I chose the colour scheme for the website. I like to do my coding in xterms with black backgrounds and sometimes even green text for the true "days gone by" effect. I suppose (...) Does anyone have any suggestions for a minifig scale crawler crane? I plan to build one and wouldn't mind getting some info from someone who has tried to build one or has built one. Does anyone know any websites with one? (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)
