Does anyone have any suggestions for a minifig scale crawler crane? I plan
to build one and wouldnt mind getting some info from someone who has tried
to build one or has built one. Does anyone know any websites with one?

Hi Erik, welcome to crane building!
First thing to decide is how long you want the boom, and whether you want it
to be able to actually lift things. A lot of short cuts can be taken if you
only want a model that looks good. The biggest problem Ive found is the
boom - finding a construction technique that is
- strong enough for intended use
- light enough to be held aloft, and
- looks good
is a compromise for which I dont think theres a perfect answer in LEGO. But
Ive used several techniques for different applications, all of which I
consider successful. So I include here pictures of, and links to, my
minifig scale cranes, with a
link to my construction
equipment page. I hope they help!

Ooops! Lets try those links again!!!
