  Re: JCB JS220 Excavator

(...) It is interesting you say that, because that was one of the reasons I chose the colour scheme for the website. I like to do my coding in xterms with black backgrounds and sometimes even green text for the true "days gone by" effect. I suppose (...)   Re: Crane

(...) Hi Erik, welcome to crane building! First thing to decide is how long you want the boom, and whether you want it to be able to actually lift things. A lot of short cuts can be taken if you only want a model that "looks good". The biggest (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a minifig scale crawler crane? I plan to build one and wouldn't mind getting some info from someone who has tried to build one or has built one. Does anyone know any websites with one? (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

Hmmmm you may be right - I'm still disappointed you didn't implement automatic bucket release though ;) And have you seen those new mini excavators that have the ability to move the dipper assembly sideways? they have a sort of parallelogram (...) Hi Jennifer, Very very nice. It looks well built, well written (I wish I could write as well), and as always, well displayed! You are a master. Sincerely, Paul (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: New Years Resolution Runner

(...) I've just built a prototype motorized quadraped as a design study to see how feasible a design like this is. It uses rubber bands on the legs to give some spring, and its motion is a bit like a bucking bronco, with both the front and rear legs (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic)

Wonderful Model! I saw the mpegs of it digging and moving etc. and I think it's amazing! I like the color. If I was rating it I would give it 9 of 10 even 10 of 10. (21 years ago, 26-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
