(...) I sorted by color for many years, but I don't think it's a good idea. I recently switched to sorting by type of element, and find it to be much more useful. (...) It's all a matter of choice. Your choice. I've found that as my collection expands, my sub-catagorization has grown too. Exponentially. I sort brick out first. The ZAG boxes I use come from B&Q - see (URL) site doesn't show the £10 one I use most. It has 6(?) fixed long compartments, into which you can slot a number of dividers making up to 20+ (or 30+ ?) smaller sections. Great for all manner of parts, (...)
