"Perfect" Technic little bits storage at Costco

I was browsing Costco yesterday, and found a set of 3 storage containers
in the tool section. They are thin, only about 2-3" deep, but the key
is, rather than having a bottom that has lots of dividers, it is a
bottom/hinged top filled with tons of little open-topped bins. The bins
fit together with no spaces between them. When you close the clear lid,
it locks the bins into place, and it LOOKS like there isn't even enough
room for a half bushing to fit between the bins and lid.
These would be perfect for a very small Technic collection, or for a
portable building kit for larger collections - just fill all the bins
with technic pins, etc, and when building, only remove the bins you need
for that step/project.

The set is 60667, which doesn't show on their site. It contains one
large (14325) and 2 small (14209) containers.

It's too bad they didn't make a 4 container set with a 14408 included,
that would have made an ideal set.
I'll let you know how they work out for Technic storage as soon as I
load one or more up ;-)

| Zag makes a good product. I use one of their larger storage bins for my building selection of basic bricks: (URL) can deep link, Tom. see?) It's larger than what you're describing, but I LOVE the removable bins. It allows me to just pull an empty (...) (22 years ago, 10-Nov-02, to lugnet.storage)
