Nice Table Brad,
I use a similar sized table for building on except mine is built on
two hollow core interior doors. You can pick one of these up at a
lumberyard for about 15-24 dollars (US). They have a pretty strong
strength to weigh ratio (although I know i couldn't stand on them for
long and I'm a lightweight). If you by the 30x80 inch door it's sized
just right for 3x8 32stud baseplates. Using some scrap lumber I built
two joists that sit on two sawhorses for support.
It's a very cool table.
