I know how it feels, but it's also a good way to get into spending time with
Lego. Like, some days, I get home and I just feel like flopping in front of
the television. Sorting lets me do a little bit of working with the bricks,
without a major sit down commitment. Sometimes just feeling the pieces in
your hands gives you an idea of what you want to build next.
Sort of like sometimes I find random pieces sitting next to my PC and they
give me ideas-I have a RDS/scout, a Cybercannon, a horse with a Sheriff on
it, a bionicle leg joint and a Town trike next here. Sometimes just looking
at them or toying with them while waiting for a download gives me
ideas-sorting is the same. You look at some pieces while categorizing them
and it gives you ideas-I had a number of those Podracer blades sorted out,
and Iain spots them and thinks, hey, we could build a wind turbine with
them-twenty minutes later we have a pair of turbines ready to go...

I am slowly winning the battle though (of course 2002 LEGO is here or on the horizon and clearance season is comming soon, so I might lose ground).
