(...) For transient storage I use the "disposable" food storage containers. They have round bottoms and cost less than 50 cents each. Not suitable for long life but work fine for me. Hi I need a little help, with a storage solution but i don't know if you lot do the same thing I picked up a load of Lego - about 10 Gallons for 4UK pounds - which works out about $5.50 - now that's is a find :-D Anyway, i am cleaning it now, but (...) (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.storage)

(...) A 2x4 is large and pointy, compared to drain pipes (a lot of which are 1.5" or 2" I.D. and that's before grease/hair etc narrow them, so it depends on how long and or twisty the run is. (...) I do the same with the larger parts...the vertical nesting stacks. I have to do the same, always running to the shelfs. Drives me nuts. I also have about twenty Plano thin, clear boxes (with lids) for the smaller parts. That helps, but still (...) (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.storage)
