You can check sites like Partsref and Technica for published names. Partsref
catalogs all parts which have been modeled in LDraw, and Technica catalogs
nearly all parts which have been released in Technic sets.
Partsref also has the advantage that you can write quick-link references to
parts (for Lugnet web-users) like <part:30040>.
Partsref is at <http://www.lugnet.com/cad/ldraw/parts/ref/>. One the start
page, there is a link to Technica, and a few other useful sites.
