Naw... I think IG-88 would look something more like

or something like that... I am not a master at ASCII art.

I suggest we give bonus point to the person that figures out how many 2x4
bricks, laid, end to end, it would take to stretch 5 miles.

Maybe TLC will come out with a nanofig sized UCS death star... that should
only be about 50 feet in diameter. Much easier to get the bricks for
something that scale... :)

The interesting thing is, that ASCII rendition of the Death
Star(s) is actually more suggestive of the following:

A) The head of IG-88
B) The head of Nomad (from the ST:TOS episode)--or
was it some other robot I'm thinking of...?

Anyways, a monster it is.

(...) Just to give you an order of size and brick required. I did some calculation to build Khafre's pyramid. At minifig scale it would take 240,000 2x4 bricks; at technicfig scale you would need 1,080,000 2x6 bricks. And your pyramid would be (...) (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)
