Could someone with this set please let me know about the part on the engines
which is an axle with peg-holes at each end.  How long are they?  How many
studs are there between the axle holes?

Any help appreciated.

(...) There aren't any studs. It's just a long cross-axle. Steve (25 years ago, 5-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) John- These are not new. They are well-known, well-loved and somewhat rare 16L axles with end-connectors. Steve (25 years ago, 8-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.cad.dev)
