Hi team,

Sorry for the provocative subject header, but you're all here now. This is
what I have gleaned from LEGO Australia. Looks like we'll need Kerry • Packer's
job to afford it all. I've used the current Aussie Peso exchange rate of
USD$0.614

AUD Retail     USD MSRP    AUD Equivalent
                                                         of USD MSRP
Release Date March 2000
7104  Desert Skiff             $18.95         $5.99          $9.61
7115  Gungan Patrol            $36.95         $14.99         $24.41
7124  Flash Speeder            $25.95         $9.99          $16.27
7134  A-Wing Fighter           $36.95         $14.99         $24.41
7144  Slave 1                  $55.95         $19.99         $32.41
7180  B-Wing Fighter           $89.95         $29.99         $48.84
8000  Pit Droid                $42.95         $19.99         $32.41
8001  Battle Droid             $64.95         $29.99         $48.84
8002  Destroyer Droid          $106.95        $49.99         $81.42

Release Date June 2000
7155  Trade Federation AAT     $49.95         $19.99         $32.41
7184  Trade Federation MTT     $126.95        $49.99         $81.42

Release Date August 2000
7181  UCS TIE Interceptor      $239.95        $99.99(?)      $162.85(?)
7190  Millennium Falcon        $264.95        $99.99         $162.85
7191  UCS X-Wing               $359.95        $149.99(?)     $244.28(?)

So to buy one of each in Australia I'm up for AUD$1,519.40. Methinks I'll • be
buying them from the USA.

Whoa, that's bad...

IIRC, the Aussie dollar has about the same exchange as the Canadian dollar,
yes? Wow!

If you were to buy Lego from North , you'd still be paying less with
shipping & exchange.
