That's 15.5 cents a piece for the TIE and 12.1 cents a piece for the X-wing.
These sets are horribly overpriced. As a comparison to the TIE, 5561 Big Foot
had 742 pieces (39 pieces more) and cost $88 ($21 less) PLUS it had 4 large
baloon tires which drove up the price of the set. Now there don't seem to be
any special pieces like the tires in the TIE that would raise up the price of
this set unless the nameplates are made out of gold or something. Maybe the
prices are in Canadian dollars? :-) Or could these sets possibly come with a
CD-ROM? That would be awesome!
As long as Lego keeps making sets as cool and detailed as these, I'm not going
to complain.
