David,
Please don't get discouraged. I just think the guidelines are just a
little strict. It seems that the entries must be of a Model Team scale.
I think that if this is the case, the subject matter should be more
general, like "Star Wars Space Craft" instead of "X-wing." Either that,
or allow different scales. It would be neat if different scale entries
could compete together, instead of in their own categories. I know it
sounds like apples and oranges, but it could be done. Give each model
scores in three areas:
10 points for realism
10 points for creative use of pieces
10 points for overall appearance.
The Model Team scale may get more points for realism, but the microfig
scale will probably get more points for creative use of pieces, so it
will even out.
Sorry to sound so negative before. Keep up the good work, at any
rate.

| I'd like to see all these supposed X-Wing MOCs that you guys are talking about. I know of only a couple of set modifications, and maybe one older, pre-lego-starwars MOC. I would hardly call this a lot of X-wings. The truth is, it's looking like (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)
