Remember after the MF was captured by the Death Star, the Imperials reported
the MF log described escape pods being jetisoned shortly after takeoff. So
the MF at least had space for escape pods. However, they presumably were not
carrying full capacity of escape pods when they were captured, or it would
have been pretty obvious that the log had been rigged. I imagine the MF's
escape pods would be similar to the Tantive IV's (both of Corellian design,
right?), though perhaps smaller.
