  Slave 1 Cockpit II

Another post concerning TLC´s Cockpit of their official Slave 1 model: They are using the same cockpit like in the monorail set etc (see: (URL) This cockpit is square and not round. I cannot understand how they managed to make this thing so ugly. (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Well, I don't think either one is a perfect solution. The Naboo Fighter canopy gets too narrow at the front (as oriented on the Naboo Fighter) to be the top of Slave 1's cockpit. and I think I'd rather have the two smoke hinged pieces as (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I agree, the Naboo/A-wing cockpit is close, but not too small and narrow at the top. Its a little too small, but not so far off. Using two windows, with the N-1 canopy would have been the best choice. BTW, my new Slave-1 page is: (URL) for the nod, Pat J (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) cool! can't wait to see it. I like seeing all these different variations on the same ship done by so many AFOLs... it really gives a good example of how individual working style affects the designs we all do. As for the Slave I, that was the (...) (25 years ago, 15-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)
