  Re: Age average

There are still a few of us under 20. I'm 15(four months to bday and I can't wait :) This thread really ought to be moved to lugnet.people in fact I'm posting it there as well, so set followups to there only, as ages of readers has nothing to do (...)   Re: Age average

(...) I guess I'll chime in here as well- 27, born in 72. I used to love Gerald ford as a child. So much so that I drew a picture of him in red crayon and sent it to him. I got a letter from one of his secretaries and a brochure about the WhiteHouse (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

(...) If you're talking about being "chopped up for hamburger", though, I think you're better off referencing Soylent Green. ;) Okay, now it's time to render "Time Bandits" or "Buckaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension" with SW Lego--...   Re: Age average

(...) Hm, I´m 28 too. But I only remember seeing Harrison Ford in Star Wars as a child. I tried to build an x-wing after seeing the movie. But I failed because the hinges didn´t support the wings (and it was off color as well) ;) Now my childhood (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

  Re: Age average

I would recommend finding a copy of the *book* Logan's Run somewhere, like a second hand bookstore or something, because, as I recall, it is much better than the movie.   Re: Age average

And since everyone is giving their ages, I just turned 30 in July, came out of my dark ages with the Sith Infiltrator and MindStorms. I'm old enough that I first saw Star Wars in the *MOVIE THEATRE*, and not on video. I almost choked when my wife (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

  Re: Age average

(...) Better yet, read it. It's a short novel, skinny by today's standards. Although the basic premise is the same, the details vary greatly between the book and the movie. In the book, the culture isn't limited to a few domed cities, it's the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

O.K., adding myself to the survey... not sure why, since you can just read my introduction on lugnet.people... I'm 31, which appears to be on the high side of those who have answered the survey. Snippage (...) Either my math is off or you are in denial about your age. I was born in '71 and I'm 33. ;) Mike (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

  Re: Age average

(...) In Logan's Run you would have gone to carousel or become a runner to find sanctuary. Being chopped up is another flick altogether. You would have been turned into yummy soylent green. Mike (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)

  Re: Age average

(...) Some person posts one post to it. Then that post shows up (on the web front page or as a new post in news readers), and then people read other parts of the tree and respond. That's my guess. (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.people)
