The purple color of the MF cockpit seems dubious to me. I have to believe that
Lego will design a more authentic canopy; after all, Vader's Tie Figher and the
Y-Wing, X-Wing, and Snow Speeder all have relatively detailed canopy markings,
and they are smoked-glass. (Well, plastic - you know what I mean). Anyway, I
have a sinking feeling that the UFO pieces are here to stay; they make too much
sense as design elements (I'm not saying that I like them, only that I'm not
suprised that TLG is taking the easy way out in this respect.) So, my 2 cents
is that we'll get a better canopy. But note to TLG: on a scale of 1 to 10,
this
ship is about a negative 26.
