From what I gather, "promo set" is used around here to describe sets available to the public, but available through different channels (ie: McD's happy meals, shell stores, (...) | | | | The first set was the press kit send out earlier this year for the NY toy fair. Only press types got a copy and was as you described with the sound chip playing the familiar theme. This was for the launch of the line at the toy show. One such set (...) (25 years ago, 30-Sep-99, to lugnet.starwars)
