This is actually called the Droid Developer Kit set#9748, at least according
to the US S@H summer catalog I received. It's pictured on the back cover. It
was also prominently featured on the back cover of the non S@H catalog that
I received shortly after returning a defective (printing) R2D2 for exchange.
You can order this from US S@H (maybe Canada & elsewhere) though the catalog
says "Available to ship August 27, 1999"
Search the robotics group, I know that there has been some discussions of
the pros & cons of this "Micro Scout" unit.

PS Keep in mind that you cannot build all three models pictured all at once,
and there is a footnote that instructions are not included for Battle Droid
& STAP
