No, you didn't need to inform them of the 'proper' price. Just as they
don't have to budge on a set that is mismarked too high. If the set is
clearly priced (and there's no sign that someon relocated the price-tag
from a different product), that's the price it goes for.

I happened upon one Target (5 minutes from my house) that had the set marked for $19.99 on both shelf tag and scanner, so I did not hesitate to buy two. :-) I wasn't planning on buying any of this set until I came across that price.
