The Paleontologist and Paleobotanist (don't remeber their names) are not • particularly endearing in
any fashion... I've read many of his books (Congo, The Andromeda Strain, • JP, TLW, Sphere) and I've
come to the conclusion that he really doesn't know anything about human • nature... all of his
characters are charicatures of people: here is the person, and here is this
person's Big Major Flaw

I didn't know JP, TLW, Sphere are all from the same author. All I know is
movie versions of all of these are sucking deep. Especially JP..what a
marketing effort and what an air bubble afterwards. I think I should check
out who is the writer of the original novel before going for watching its
film version...:-)
