And he had a lot more character than Darth Maul.  Darth Maul wasn't a
character, he was a plot device.  He was a gargoyle, waiting for people to
come around the corner and be surprised to see him.  The battle droids had
more interesting characters.

That final truel/duel (is truel a real word?) was one of the
best swordfights I ever remember seeing!
I think we all share the disappointment of DM being so little
used. He said almost as much in the One Truth trailer as in
the film!
