I liked the Trade Federation guys -- they're probably invertebrates,
evolving directly from some jellyfish floating in an alien sea somewhere.
The battle droids definitely should have been more menacing. Or there
should have been two different types of droids: one with the guns, with a
menace-level somewhere between the Destroyer Droids and the Battle Droids,
and another type which would be a scout/officer/human interface type.

Kinda, yeah. It just seems like (outside of the Final Battle) he spent
most of his time skulking.
