Was it sabotage? Was it The Force? Was it that extra spicy bean & Greedo
burrito he had for lunch at Watto Bell back in Mos Eisley? No one really knows
for sure what caused R5-D4s motivator to smoke and explode, but one things for
sure: if it hadnt, Luke would have bought him, Artoo would have stayed back
with the Jawas, and the stormtroopers might not have even bothered to make the
trip to the Lars homestead and turn Owen and Beru into crispy critters. While
that would have been a good thing from Owen and Berus perspective, Luke might
never have left Tatooine, the storyline would have ended there, and Star Wars
LEGO sets would never have existed! So, thanks to R5-D4s explosive indigestion
and Owen and Berus spot-on impersonations of Cajun blackened chicken, I
present...
my R5-D4 Mini-Land Figure
He doesnt explode or smoke, and he absolutely refuses to eat the microwave
burritos Ive been cooking for him, but hes still pretty cool nonetheless. :-)
