I recently received the Snowspeeder, and I must say that I was very impressed with the finished product. I think it was probably the least challenging of the UCS sets so far, there is a distinct lack of ingenious building techniques (very little (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-03, to lugnet.starwars)

I'm very likely buying it no matter what... but I just wondered if anyone had comments or even a full review to share for the UCS Snowspeeder? My opinion is that when a set comes with 0 LEGO bricks, there's no question that it's a (very recent) TECHNIC set.* I'm looking at my own Hailfire Droid I just got for Christmas, and I just can't find any. (...) Actually, thats only partly true. Up thru model year 2001, there were several sets which had both TECHNIC and Star Wars on the box front. (...) Hailfire droid is made with technic parts, but they had to license the rights to make it from George Lucas, so they are required to label it Star Wars. LEGO does not use double labels.
