Mos Eisley - you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Except... —James Casey
Mos Lego! The first UK fest of the year was this last weekend at Aldershot. Some of us members of the Brickish Association ((URL) decided to put together a collaborative display, and the theme chosen was Mos Lego. We raided our tan supplies, and (...)      James, Great team effort! (...) Sorry can't come but this would have been a blast to see it with the Slave Quarters that we've done a few months ago. (URL) & Sons (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Mos Eisley - —James Casey
(...) Wow those Slave Quarters are nice, and would have fitted perfectly. I might have to "borrow" a few ideas from it... ;) James (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Mos Eisley - —Amado C. Pinlac
James (...) From the scale of the layout it was obvious to us that it would be a great addition to the whole scene. And if you have any specific questions about the Slave Quarters, don't hesitate to email me. Regards, ACPin & Sons (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Definitely the coolest Mos Eisley rendition I've ever seen. All the domes on the buildings are great, and JEEZ that's a lot of tan!!! -Stefan- (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Mos Eisley - you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Except... —James Casey
(...) Thanks. I don't think any of us have that much tan by ourselves - thats what made it a good choice for a collaborative effort. There was no brief or specification at all - we just said "let make Mos Eisley". Tan was the natural colour. Tan is (...) (22 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Wowie wow wow! Dang that's impressive. The Mos Eisley uses more tan than I thought existed. Lots of great details. I really like the building on the far left (cantina?) with the large dome made of plates. The variety of building styles and inclusion (...) (22 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I believe that is the work of Pete Reid. (...) The custom minis are also Pete's. There are some piccies on his brickshelf (URL) although not of the Star Wars ones as he only did them very recently to go in Mos Lego. (...) The Battlestar (...)       (...) Thanks, I'll keep my eye on his gallery to see if he posts these SW custom figs. (...) Let me know when you do (bnh@chem.ucla.edu).           Re: Mos Eisley - you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Except... —Peter Reid
Hello, I've finally got the Mos Lego pictures up on my Brickshelf site. They don't really do justice to the actual collaborative experience, which was a Geat Lego Moment for me. The last image in the 'Tatooine' folder is a nice close up of the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.castle)
