Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Tom McDonald
(...) The back of it has a dark grey version of the TIE canopy. Wierd. This is definitely a SPUD. -Tom McD. delete the spamcake. (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Mike Walsh
The scooter that Darth Maul has uses a piece I recently found on the 6693 Refuse Collection Truck that I picked up. The tan piece that forms the 90 degree angle came in red on the 6693 which was from 1987. Interesting ... digging up some of the old (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Steve Bliss
(...) That piece is pretty common, as a space seat. It was in 6938 Scorpion Detector, 1843 Space/Castle Value Pack, and many others which I can't bring to mind right now. Steve (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Another one, sitting right in front of my face: the second Insectiod polybag #6943. Steve (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Steve Bliss
(...) Wow. This set is worse than I thought. Where the speeder goes in the LEGO ship is *supposed* to be the main cabin. I think what was done to this ship should be called "unselective compression". Maybe I *don't* want TLG to make a Millenium (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —James Brown
(...) As others have posted, hideous model. I think the 'unselective impression' comment fits this best. However: First picture: Grey plates. Dark grey bricks. Dark grey 2x2 corners. Several other sloped bricks, including another of the 2x4 long (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Joel Hoornbeek
In lugnet.starwars, James Brown writes: <snip> (...) of the Rockraiders[1] sets. However, I haven't seen any good close-ups. One of my first thoughts is that it is almost the right shape for an AT-AT foot. -Joel 1. Interesting idea, but can you say (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Ryan Dennett
I haven't seen the trailer so I don't know what it looks like(obiously not how Lego portrayed it from what I gather). But my first impression was "cool, a TIE-wing fighter" :) Well that is sorta what it looks like. It does look like it would have (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Steve Bliss
(...) I think I know what you're talking about, it looks like there is a piece with a domed surface. But looking at the box scan (URL), there's no sign of such a piece. I think one of the wings is casting a shadow in the back-end picture. Steve (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —Jeff Stembel
(...) That is new, and it is common in the Rockraiders sets. It appears to be two 2x6 plates forming a cross merged with a 4x4 Disc. ;) (...) Which picture do you mean? The angle is bad on the Box scan, but once I knew what to look for, I saw it. (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Loose pics of the Sith Infiltrator —James Brown
(...) Yup. You can see it fairly well in 4980 Tunnel Transport (the helicopter-like thing). It's using them for 'feet' on the four landing struts. I don't recall who mentioned it, but they do indeed look like AT-*T feet. (...) The picture that's up (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)
