Has anybody out there who's got a Star Destroyer experimented with some
reengineering to make the thing more stable?
I got mine finished (in a mere 14.5 hours!), and it's all together in one
piece, but I don't feel good about four magnets and three "latches" holding
the underside plates on.
I've been thinking of ways to shore up the structure, maybe by attaching the
underside plates to the central spine more permanantly.
Anybody got any ideas? I was thining maybe some of those 2x4 hinge pieces
(sorry, I don't know the correct terminology - the ones that open and close
like alligator jaws) might be useful. Maybe 10 or so to a side connecting
the inner edge of the internal frame to the plates?
Any other great thoughts out there?

The only piece I've had fall off while I was holding it was one of the back (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)
