Yeah, bad directing call on Lucas' part there. The Sand People run *after*
we see the shot of Obi-Wan, making the viewer think that it's Obi-Wan that
they're running from, when in fact, they're running from what they think is
a Kryat Dragon. Better would have been to have the sound once or twice, have
the Sand People run, THEN see that it's just Obi-Wan making the noise.
But you're right, it's NOT Obi-Wan that they run from-- they think they're
running from a desert creature. I think this was mentioned in both the SW
script and the novel? Maybe just one or the other... I forget. Anyway, I
remember reading that and thinking "OH! Now *THAT* makes much more sense!"
