Legitimate Tusken Raider fear

As I am preparing myself for the Attack of the Clones DVD to come out,
something suddenly occurred to me. Remember back in Episode IV A New Hope
(The first Star Wars Movie for you novices out there) when Luke was being
beaten and robbed by the Tusken Raiders (sand people), Obi-Wan was able to
scare them off, using little else than his Jedi robe and a high pitched
scream. At the time we all thought it was just a mixture of Jedi mind tricks
and the element of surprise. Now however I think that the Tusken Raiders are
genuinely afraid, seriously I bet they were all fearful that Obi-Wan was
that evil Jedi in their legends that slaughtered an entire village. I am of
course referring to Anakins actions in Episode II.
Kind of puts a different spin on things huh?

I don't remember where I read it, probably the novelization, but it was suggested that Obi-Wan was immitating the scream of a Kryat (sp?) dragon which would be something the Sand People normally run from. Obviously looking at him he wasn't a (...) (22 years ago, 17-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)
