While I don't particularily like the price increase, I think it is smart on
Lego's part. The number of *drooling* posts is staggering. Surely Lego
anticipated that? That being said, knowing that many many collectors will
purchase the set, almost regardless of the price tag, they could really slap
down any price they wanted. While $40 is a lot, it is still not too much to
turn off people who *drool.*
As for myself, I don't think I can bring myself to slap down that much
change. I think it's Christmas list material.
