Re: Picture of Naboo Fighter box found

(...) left out the most important thing: This has our first good, clear look at Battle Droid minifigs! I'm glad they actually made little skeleton-fig like bodies for them. It's encouraging to see that and the seperate head for Jar Jar in the sub... (...) (25 years ago, 16-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

The Nabbo Swamp set picture on th eLego web site looks like it at least has a battle droid as well. That makes it as common as the Luke minifig. (...) Jorge Rodriguez rodriguez.136@osu.edu (25 years ago, 16-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Yes, but there is *supposed* to be a lot of battle droids. They are shown as mass troops in the trailer. Hundreds of identical battle droids. Steve (25 years ago, 16-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I can't tell if the foot is separate from the leg... but the legs look like one piece. It looks like the droid has 8 pieces: head, neck, torso 2 arms pelvis + 2 legs piece 2 feet (maybe, if they are not part of the legs/pelvis) what makes up a (...)   Re: Picture of Naboo Fighter box found

Skeletons have 6 pieces 1 head, 1 torso, 2 legs, 2 arms Battle Droids (IMO) have both legs as one molded piece. I can only see one clip between the legs where they attach to the torso, plus two arms, I think the neck is attached to the torso, the (...) (25 years ago, 16-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)

It looks to me as if they are composed of five pieces: head/neck(one piece) torso 2 arms hips/legs (one piece that clips onto the torso without independently moving legs Skeletons are made up of six pieces (head/torso/2arms/2legs) I wonder if the (...)   Re: Picture of Naboo Fighter box found

My thoughts on the Naboo fighter: 4 minifigs (including R-2) for $20? Not bad. The "uni-leg" on the Battle Droids is a little dissapointing, but it looks like getting a whole bunch of them wont be too hard (you get 1[?] on a STAP in the Swamp set.) (...) (...) I really hope not, since none of the photos of Naboo N-1 fighters in the hanger shows any landing gear. They seem to be suspended somehow, or just to sit hovering with repulsorlifts constantly (a la "parked" Speeder Bikes). eric (25 years ago, 18-Apr-99, to lugnet.starwars)
