Anyway, at the suggestion of a friend, I bumped the resolution on my machine up to True Color (32 Bit), and the color is much closer to blue, so at this point it could go either way, I think I'll (...)    (...) I don't buy that reasoning. I believe that film emulsions can often incorrectly record some colors while exactly preserving others.    My two cents worth: Blue. Blue. The purple reflection of the lights on the stingray is what convinced me that the purple color is an effect of the lighting.
