Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive. —Jason Fabisch
It clearly states it is a Rebel Blockade Runner, but not necessarily the Tantive IV (or whatever the number was). I have seen pictures of all Blue and all Red RBR's. But the diplomatic crafts have to have red on them somewhere. So maybe we could see (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Yeah, the Dinosaurs boxes say that they "transform" too. ;^) None of the Star Wars movies showed the Blockade Runner in any color other than white (with a stripe). Unless LEGO is beginning to do some "expanded universe" stuff, I wouldn't count (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive. —Jon Palmer
(...) Please tell me this thing is gonna be more grey then white. I was really disapointed with the white on the UCS x-wing and the Shuttle. IMO just about every ship in the SW universe should be more grey then white. And the original batch of white (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive. —Burkhard Schloemer
I expect a rather wild mix of white, tan, light and dark grey, with the new dark red only used for markings (stripes). Take the UCS X-wing for example. The designers at LEGO are said to be color-blind at times, but I hope they're not THAT (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive. —Mike Petrucelli
The Tantive IV was the Rebel Blockade Runner. To paraphrase the Star Wars Behind the Magic CD "[The Empire belived the Rebel Blockade Runner to be a massive battle platform but discovered it was just a run of the mill Corellian Corvette.]" As for (...)         Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive. —Mark Chittenden
BTW - also bear in mind that only in the 'expanded universe' (everything Star Wars OUTSIDE the movies) is the ship even identified at all. At no time IN the movie is the ship refered to as anything other than "The Princess' Ship". And now a bit of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive. —John Radtke
(...) There is at least a little bit of grey area when it comes to the use of names not actually in the movies. We are evidently getting a Lobot figure in Jan. I just watched the trilogy last night and noticed that the name Lobot is not even in the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

"John Radtke" <jaradtke@mindspring.com> wrote in message news:GK4orJ.8J4@lugnet.com... (...) Lobot was called "Lando's Assistant" or something like "Cloud City Administrator" in the ESB credits (I watched ESB again on Thursday and noticed this, but (...)
