  missing piece

Sorry to bother you all with this, but nobody in my house cares at all, and I need to share with SOMEBODY. After 21 years of putting together Lego sets, last night I came across the very first instance of a set missing a piece. I have had "near (...)   Re: missing piece

(...) That is definitely odd to have the first time happen at the same time as the second time and all after 21 years. In the close to 500 sets that I have I've only once come across a missing piece - on of the tubing pieces for the small Anakin's (...)   Re: missing piece

(...) Oh, yeah, that happens to me too. Especially since I generally dump all the parts into the box and work out of there. Even getting towards the end of a model though I will swear that a piece isn't in there but it always shows up eventually. As (...) No its not just you, you should have seen the trouble I had with not finding the pieces when I put the silver champ together! Ugh! "Greg Perry" <supernerd23@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:GJ9D41.Gvy@lugnet.com... (...) Definitely! I normally put all the pieces into the box or something I've got lying around and work from there sitting in front of the TV. I normally end up (...) (...) <snipped> (...) If it's OCD-ish then I, too, suffer. :) I've been the same way since about 10 years old or so... at least that's the first instance I can recall where I was "sure" LEGO forgot a piece. What you described is almost word for word (...) (23 years ago, 7-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: missing piece

(...) Happens to me ALL the time Greg! Almost systematic in that every set I put together a piece falls on the rug, or under my leg, or under another piece or god knows where and I am CONVINCED the the very CORE of my soul that the Lego Corporation (...)   Re: missing piece

(...) This probably happens to every LEGO fan. I know it happens to me every time. Normally two or three times with each set, even. The closest I've come to a missing piece was quite a few years ago with the Ice Planet series. One of the sets had (...) (23 years ago, 8-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)
