For you viewing pleasure, I have posted, on BrickShelf, images of my
mini-fig scale version of Prince Xizor's Virago. They can be seen at:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=2466
The model is closer to the version found in the "Essential Guide ..." as
opposed to the plastic model kit. The wings use click hinges so they stay
in postion. The ship has a much higher "zoom" or "swoosh" value than I
thought it would. This resulted in extened construction time because I
spent so much time playing with the incomplete ship. The black stand in the
pictures is for display purposes only. The ship lands with the wings in the
fully folded position. This was my first real non-studs-up model and I am
happy with how durable the ship is.
I would be interested to hear any feedback that you may have.
Thanks,
Bob
