  Re: SW Books

You may be able to find this book on Amazon for $75. I got mine at that price. You should also look for Industrial Light and Magic: The Art of Special Effects. Many good photos in there as well, though Chronicles duplicates all of them, I think. (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Lego survey in Millenium Falcon set

(...) Very interesting, Joel, Maybe this means we actually have some sort of consumer clout with TLG. If we all raise up in unison, then maybe the jr. sets will go away. Have a nice warm fuzzy day! GREG! (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: SW Books

(...) lacking (...) art. Agreed, the Encyclopaedia is lacking in detail and inconsistent with its entries. I loved the Technical Journal - in conjunction with the Essential Guides it is great - unfortunately there is no one book dealing with all (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Lego survey in Millenium Falcon set

(...) I live in Addison, and commute to work in Schaumburg. The TRU in Shaum has yet to Falcons. Heres what they do have. The still have a full section of SW. They got two Tie Interceptors in around June 15, I bagged one. About two weeks ago I (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Lego survey in Millenium Falcon set

(...) Greg, Chicago did get them!! I am so glad I got my Falcon when I did. The TRU at Western @ Addison in Chicago got 2 falcons and 5 Tie Interceptors around the 20th of June. I got a falcon and a Tie that day. the other falcon sat for about 3 (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  SW Books

Is the "Star Wars Technical Journal" worth buying? How does it compare to the Encyclopedia? I have read through the Encyclopedia, and found it lacking in pictures/photos and detail. It gives a brief bit about everything, including obscure history (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Anyone built a droid rack?

That sounds cool...I would love to see pictures. What I'm really hoping, is to be able to make a rack that actually unfolds to deploy the droids. I haven't bought the MTT set yet. I figure to do what I want, I'm going to have to MOC it. Let us know (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Action S@H catalog missing sets

(...) I hadn't noticed but your right that is really annoying. As for why some sets are not displayed I couldn't tell you. I wouldn't be supprised if the Gungan Sub and the Sith Infiltrator were discontinues soon. I think they are both slow movers (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Anyone built a droid rack?

Ya mean like what is in the MTT? If so, I've done this. I hollowed out the space below the space where the droids are and added 2 more rows. So now it can hold 18 figs. I hope to get pictures in about 2 weeks. HTH -- kyle (URL)Ever since EP1 came (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)
