(...) Indeed it was... While the Outrider did not make an apearance in the original trilogy, the design impressed George Lucas so much that it was added to the Special Edition version of ANH. It can be seen taking off from Mos Eisley as Luke's (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Yes, it was, in the special edition of A New Hope. It was a computer generated one, in the Mos Espa esape, when Luke and Obi Wan and Han Solo were getting away, if I remember correctly.
