(...) I have to disagree. The 2000 Town sets still suck, but are much better than the 1999 sets. The 2000 sets feature less simplification than last year. And instructions to sets finally contain more than 2 or 3 steps. (For example, 6439, Mini (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I can only comment on the SW line, so here goes: I was highly, highly satisfied with the 99 Lego Classic Line. This was one of the best group of releases ever. The EPI line was definitely good, but not great. They had good pieces, but maybe (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I am sooo glad this topic has come up! I work in a commission only job and only buy lego when my paycheck has been more then minimum expenses. The past few months have been on the low side and I have been kicking myself for want of the new Arctic (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Wauugghh! Yah, you said it! :-( I saw an MOC the other day which did use these (in white, from old Futuron sets and more reently in a Divers set) and they looked *SO* excellent there.
