Re: [OT] How large would Executor-class SSD appear?

(...) According to starwars.com it is 12.800 meters: "The size of a Super Star Destroyer has vacillated in numerous publications, starting with an eight-kilometer length in 1984's A Guide to the Star Wars Universe. The latest measurements peg the (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: [OT] How large would Executor-class SSD appear?

(...) I dunno, it sounds like it makes sense. I mean, imagine how big a Boeing 747 looks at 50,000 feet (I get about 1/8th of a degree, assuming 70.7m length for a 747). Actually, considering how crasily long many clouds are, I wouldn't be suprised (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

[OT] How large would Executor-class SSD appear?

OK, this is WAY geeky, but I just thought I'd share... This was triggered by a cloud visible at sunset a couple of evenings ago. It was long and triangular, and took up about 5 "hand-widths" at arms length. I started thinking, how close (or far (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Bricks.HighAdmiral.de finally again up-to-date

Hello folks! I wanted to just let you know that the website (URL) finally has been updated to the newest models. I am sorry for the lack of updating during the last months, while I only updated in the Brickshelf folder. Now the site is back to (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

(...) Of course, it's indisputably a classic. (...) Oh, we are... both my kids love this (SW fans that they are), they've read the original and sequel several times and giggled hysterically all the way. Well done as always! Kelly (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

(...) I wish there were more stories like that. Some jokes are hillarious too! Nice work, Adrian. Terry (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The End of the ISD - An illustrated Star Wars Story

(...) Hey now, are you saying Gungans are "Animals"??? They don't have very good table manners (my dog is neater), they're not very bright (my cats are smarter), and they are very annoying (a rabid racoon stalking you is less annoying!). But still, (...)   Re: Why do they never watch the movies?

(...) Guys, look back a dozen posts and you'll see a thread called "Modding the new LEGO lightup minifig", by the original creator of light-up light sabres (not TLC!). There you shall learn all. ;] KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203 (20 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)
